Instructions for Exhibitors
Congratulations on being selected to show your work at 1650 Gallery!
To guarantee your place in the show your work for the KID STUFF
photography exhibition MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN
WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 2011.
And please fill out the Artist Information Form
EXHIBITION PRINTS:
In order to insure there is ample time to frame and hang your work, we ask you to please ship your prints asap. Please pack your photos securely with a reusable container, as we will be returning your prints to you in the same packaging. Also, please include a pre-paid return shipping label with your artwork if you wish us to return it.
You have these options for print sizes:
1. Send one of the following image sizes:
8"x10" 11"x14" 12"x16" 16"x20"
2. Send ANY SIZE image on one of the following paper sizes:
11"x14" 12"x16" 16"x20"
3. You can send any sized photograph if it is already framed.
We will mat and frame works for artists free of charge for the duration of the exhibition, provided photographs are printed to one of the above sizes. If you choose to send your work already matted and framed, please use a thin black metal frame and a white or cream mat.
ORDERING PRINT SERVICES:
We print exhbition prints on an Epson 9900 printer.

1650 GALLERY EXHIBITION CATALOG:
Accepted artists should submit a high res jpeg (around 6"x8" in size @ 300dpi)
for inclusion in the printed show catalog by MONDAY, JUNE 26, 2011.
Catalog JPEGs should be uploaded via the Exhibitor Information form ASAP. Files can also be sent via email to 1650gallery@gmail.com or via FTP.
Please remember to include your name and the title of your work with the file.
All artists will have an opportunity to purchase a copy of the catalog.

SHIPPING:
Please pack your photographs very carefully for shipping. We will use the same packing materials to return your prints to you, so please make sure they are sturdy. Ship your photo FLAT, using several layers of foamcore or cardboard at least. A padded envelope or a cardboard mailer is not enough to prevent your photograph from getting banged up. 1650 Gallery is not responsible for photographs that are damaged in shipping. Please do not use packing peanuts.
PLEASE INCLUDE RETURN SHIPPING IF YOU WANT YOUR WORK RETURNED:
Return postage and a mailing label should be included with your work if you send it to us. UPS and FedEx return labels must have pre-paid bar codes or account numbers. Work without return shipping will not be returned. If you do not wish to pay for return shipping, you may donate your print to 1650 Gallery.
