FLOWER POWER 2014

Flowers have been a perennial favorite of photographers from Imogen Cunningham to Robert Mapplethorpe and beyond; the beauty, color, form, texture and compositions that nature offers in the form of flowers is unmatched.

Artists from around the globe take delight in capturing this natural beauty with the camera lens, and the different approaches taken (natural, documentary, abstract and even surreal) are a testament to the enduring tenacity of the creative spirit.

Sixty works have been chosen from submitted photographs to be included in the FLOWER POWER 2014 exhibition at 1650 Gallery in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
